Manifold is an NFT minting platform and allows Web3 creators to mint their own non-fungible tokens. The main features of this tool are that it maintains creative ownership, preserves on-chain provenance and can interoperate with all existing NFT marketplaces.

As I mentioned earlier, Manifold is a platform for minting NFTs, which allows creators and artists to mint their own non-fungible token. The problem is that the platforms that allow this do it through a smart contract provided by the same marketplace that sells it and this generates that the NFT contains a random smart contract.
Consequently, Manifold was created with the objective of fulfilling several characteristics different from the rest of the marketplaces, such as maintaining creative ownership, preserving on-chain provenance and allowing interoperability with all existing NFT marketplaces.
¿How did Manifold come about?
Manifold.xyz was created by three Web3 developers called Eric Diep, Richerd Chan y Wilkins Chung with the goal of being the first platform where non-fungible token Web3 artists can enjoy full ownership of their work.
After bringing this idea to fruition in August 2021, the team received around $8 million in seed funding in order to expand their market. Among the most recognized artists who have used the platform to produce their own NFTs are Jay Z y Steve Aokiamong other well-known artists and creators.
In addition, as I said earlier, all NFTs that are minted in Manifold.xyz are compatible with the most popular marketplaces currently in the ecosystem, including OpenSea, SuperRare, Zora, Foundation, Rarible and more.
The uniqueness of this platform is that it uses an integrated smart contract technology called “Manifold Creator Contracts”, this allows creators to take full ownership of their NFTs by allowing their name to stand out above the market itself.
More applications within Manifold
Manifoldcontains a set of project applications, which can be found in the “Applications” tab in the main control panel of Manifold Studio.
They currently have 11 applications, which are created by the Manifold team or members of the community. The best examples are:
Claim Pages: used to launch free or paid, timed or unlimited open editions.
Burn RedeemBurn Redeem: used to set up a burn page and for cashiering, where holders can burn one type of NFT to mint another type.
GalleryGallery: used to create and manage public auction pages for your Manifold minting projects.
Marketplace BlockerMarketplace Blocker: to prevent marketplaces from selling your NFTs, for example, if they do not respect the agreed royalties.
If you want to use it, the user will have to press the “install” button and approve the installation. Once installed, for example, the Claim Pages application, just press the “open” button on the application page and you can easily create limited or open editions through the Manifold signature upload flow.
¿What is the Multiple Creator Contract??
Currently, many non-fungible token creators use and market their NFTs in the most popular marketplaces. What happens is that these NFTs become a product of that market’s third-party minting contract, which means it is assigned a random ID.
However, with Manifold’s Multiple Creator Contract, NFTs minted on the platform are guaranteed to be authentically attributed to the creator. In this way, collectors are assured that the NFTs they purchase are creations of their favorite artists and 100% authentic.

¿What is Manifold Studio?
This tool allows you to coin your own NFT without the need for coding, while retaining the ownership and provenance of your creation.
The user interface is simple and dynamic, allowing you to create your own NFT with just a few clicks. Studio takes care of all the technical work on the backend and allows you to create your own customized smart contract.
After the contract is deployed on the core network, the creator will have full control over their own smart contract and the ability to mint both ERC-721 and ERC-1155. The process is also super-easy, as all one has to do is upload the asset, customize the metadata and press the Create button.
