The movie that is on one of the most popular entertainment platforms such as Netflix arrives to Decentraland’s metaverse and promises exclusive prizes in NFTs.
The thriller and action movie features a luxury cast such as Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and Dhanush, among others. It was recently announced that the film will be taken directly to the Decentraland metaverse, one of the best platforms to explore and enter the virtual universe.
Ryan Gosling himself presented through a video this collaboration between the two projects that encourages you to become the greatest agent in the world, just like Ryan in “The Gray Man”.
A super maze has been created super labyrinthwhere the protagonists will have the mission to enter, find the fastest route to the source, retrieve a USB with classified information and find the secret room as soon as possible.
The challenge is to complete the mission as quickly as possible, using the skills, wit and knowledge provided by the movie “The Gray Man” (you will have to watch it to think and act as agent Court Gentry, the main character played by the Canadian actor and musician).
The clever and true agents who make it to the end of the challenge will have the chance to win exclusive prizes in specially created NFTs themed to the movie released on July 22, 2022.
The objective will be to complete the mission and visit the secret room, where the ranking of the best speedrunners will be checked to obtain the aforementioned prizes in the form of non-fungible tokens.
The winners of the NFTs will be able to win different garments and accessories to customize their Decentraland avatars with the best agent clothing.
In the maze of the metaverse you can find shortcuts, overcome obstacles and you will have to beat your best times to win any of these wearables or customizable accessories from the movie.
Some of the NFTs in play are:
Sierra program jacket: suitable for all the needs of an agent. It is the one used by Ryan Gosling in many scenes of the movie.
T-shirt and evil mustache: one of the outfits worn by Chris Evans, known especially for being the actor who plays Captain America, but who in this action film embodies one of the most evil characters.
Miranda’s Bob: an outfit and hairstyle by Ana de Armas, the Cuban-Spanish actress and model who stars as Agent Court Gentry’s partner and goes by the name Dani Miranda.
In addition, in order to participate you will have to connect your wallet (such as Metamask), which will give you access to the Decentraland platform. You will also be able to enter as a guest, but the experience will be limited, since you will not be a full user of the decentralized project that seeks to bring people into the virtual world.
Finally, the maze designed and called “The Gray Man: Metaverse Mission” was created in Decentraland under the name “AETHERIAN” and is located in the geographical coordinates – 99.88 – of the digital universe created by Argentines Esteban Ordano, Manuel Araoz and Yermel Jardi, which has a total of 90,601 land parcels and all are unique NFTs that provides ownership to the owners of them. The project is created on the Ethereum blockchain and is decentralized.
