Solana Labs has announced a novel AI add-on to ChatGPT to provide users with new functionalities related to wallet checking, NFT transactions, among other actions.
If there is one thing that most people agree on, it is that over the last few years we have been able to observe the progress and growth of two technologies that have marked a before and after in people’s lives and the way they interact with technology.
Firstly, as we have been reporting over the last few months, the main protagonist of these innovative and disruptive developments has been (and still is) the non-fungible tokens or NFTthanks to the many benefits they offer, such as transparency, security, traceability, added value, among others.
And the second protagonist is the Artificial Intelligencewith all the repercussions it has caused worldwide. In this sense, we have also observed a precedent by which NFTs have been linked to AI and it has been on the part of the company Fetch.aiwith the announcement of its AI-powered NFT marketplace.
In this opportunity, Solana Labs has taken the decision to integrate a ChatGPT to the Solana network, by which it allows the AI the functionality to obtain data recorded on the blockchain.
In this way, it will be possible to access a large amount of information, such as viewing the balance of various wallets, the transfer of tokens and NFT, among others.
Therefore, users of the Solana network will be able to interact with it through a plugin enabled in OpenAI’s chatbot, ChatGPT. This has been made known by a tweet dated April 25 posted by Solana Labs.
Specifically, users will be able to access their wallet balance and transfer tokens to other users, in addition to being able to purchase NFTs when AI plugins are made publicly available.
In another tweet from the official Solana Labs account, they have communicated their intentions to encourage developers to test this functionality, so that they can also release their own version, while exploring the open source code made available to them.
In addition, from the Solana Foundation they argue that the great processing capacity and scalability of the blockchain, will allow it to offer opportunities to build great ideas through the use of AI.
On the other hand, they shared a screenshot where you can visualize that ChatGPT can retrieve non-fungible tokens held by a Solana address. In addition, users can pass directions to the chatbot to make certain purchases of NFTs when they reach a specific price.
Not only has Solana’s network made the decision to incorporate ChatGPT into its services, but Binance has also announced that it will be incorporating ChatGPT into its services. has also announced the integration of its chatbot into its educational platform.
This product is called Binance Senseiand its main objective is to answer questions from users on issues related to Web3, blockchain, NFTs, among other topics.
