Samsung officially announced the second release on Web3. It is an NFT collection called “Uniquely Us” and is part of its recently launched “Samsung, My Way” project.
Samsung is a multinational electronics company headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. It is the principal subsidiary of the Samsung Group, which operates in 65 countries with approximately 200,000 employees.
Today, they announced the launch of their second collection of non fungible tokens (NFT) called “Uniquely Us” as part of their Web3 project “Samsung, My Way” recently unveiled and which is targeted at their community members with the goal of providing exclusive experiences and benefits for individuals.
The NFT collection called “Uniquely Us“is made up of 500 one-of-a-kind NFT PFP or also known as profile pictures. Each digital collectible has its own characteristics and seeks to reflect the different personalities that highlight the different members of the Samsung community.
Non-fungible tokens launched in the marketplace CCCV NFT marketplace and were minted on the blockchain Aergo. In addition, PFPs will also play a prominent role in “The Kaleidoscope“, a virtual game in which members of the Samsung community have to join and win to receive an NFT from Uniquely Us.
On the other hand, digital collectibles will be available only in the Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) region for the time being and holders of such assets will have the possibility to obtain an exclusive animated mobile wallpaper designed just for them.
Like the first collection called Epic Beginnings NFTthe Uniquely Us will not be available for public sale and will be offered only to the winners of the Kaleidoscopic Journey Game.
Epic Beginnings included 253 collectibles and was launched to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S23 series. At the time, the non-fungible tokens of this first collection were available only to the winners of the photo contest held by Samsung with its hashtag #SharetheEpic.
The Seoul-based company began issuing NFTs as part of its Samsung Member Program to enhance the exclusivity and privilege of its member community and enable different new and innovative Web3 experiences.
Finally, as part of its Web3 strategy in Latin America, Samsung gave away different digital collectibles after the creation of its virtual space “House Of SAM“at the beginning of 2023. Different assets were given away such as:
Customized clothing for avatars.
A garment in the shape of shiny wings.
A geek cap, which will be inspired by The Freestyle.
A jacket similar to the Awesome model of Galaxy A, one of Samsung’s smartphones.
