The fashion company’s initiative has been unveiled through partnerships with the BitPay company and the Web3 Poolsuite community, as well as integrating Polygon to give away 3,000 NFTs.
Day by day we can observe how the trend of incorporating fashion companies to the Web3 and NFT world is increasing. A circumstance that reflects this in a concrete way, has been the event held in the last days of March by the hand of Decentraland and NFT UNXD: the Metaverse Fashion Week 2023.
To summarize briefly, we can highlight the presence of top brands in this event, such as Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger and many more. In this way, we can see the intention of companies to offer new immersive experiences for their users and potential customers.
This time around, Ralph Lauren is catching a lot of people’s attention for its recent adoption of payments with cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, and for announcing that they will be giving away around 3000 NFTs.
This company’s new business decision will begin to be effective in its Miami store, located in the Miami Design District. In this way, those users and interested customers will be able to pay for their clothes and accessories through various cryptocurrencies.
On the one hand, the popular fashion brand has formalized a tie-up with the platform. BitPayplatform, whose communication announced it through its Twitter accountBitPay is now offering its customers the possibility to pay with cryptocurrencies such as BTC (including Lightning Network), APE, DAI, DOGE, EHT, MATIC, USDC, among many others.
With this event, the brand announces that it is taking its first steps in the Web3 field, to offer innovative and immersive moments to its customers throughout the year 2023.
The store has been designed with a strong modern and digital approach, with interactive screens that offer customers the possibility of analyzing the catalog, as well as making reservations for styling appointments.
In this way, in order to concretize its beginnings in the Web3 field, the company has reached an agreement with Poolsuitethrough which they will give away a Poolsuite x Ralph Lauren NFT to the 3,000 people who are part of the Poolsuite community.
These NFTs enable access to a party held at a large waterfront venue in Miami. The party is part of a three-day launch event to be held at the end of April.
The event will also feature a series of Web3 activities focused on influencers, customers, and Poolsuite x Ralph Lauren NFT holders.
David Lauren, Ralph Lauren’s chief innovation and brand officer, celebrated the opening of the brand’s new store, and said in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily that the store will be an opportunity to gather ideas as they continue to explore the Web3 space.
