NFTs awards at the Women’s America’s Cup

The Colombian @SoyFira was chosen by MasterCard to present the first NFT trophies at the Copa America, held in Colombia.

For the first time in the history of soccer, the “best player of the match” awards were presented in NFTs mode. It was in the context of the Conmebol Copa América Femenina 2022 held in Colombia and has the collaboration of the artist SOY FIRA and the multinational financial services company MasterCard.

The first player to receive the award was Daniela Montoya, a midfielder for the Colombian national team who currently plays for Junior de Barranquilla in her country.

Dozens of awards have already been presented in NFTs format by the artist SOY FIRA, who has personally given them to each outstanding player in the matches played in the Copa America.

On the side of the Argentine national team, Yamila Rodriguez has received the NFTs award for best player of the match in the matches against Peru and Uruguay. The forward is currently with Boca Juniors and is one of the best players in the Argentine League.

SOY FIRA, the Colombian artist has been growing exponentially in the industry of NFTs linked to art. A few weeks ago she was selected by NFT.NYC to exhibit her digital art in Time Square, no less.

Also, the artist was awarded as one of the five women leading the rise of the NFTs by the digital news and trends magazine with more than one million followers. ELLE UK. In addition, she participated in the Dubai Expo where she presented her entire collection of art linked to the NFTs.

In the year 2021 she made a note for Forbes detailing the sale of her entire collection of NFTs works in less than 24 hours. Undoubtedly, we are in front of one of the most recognized crypto-artists and with more future in the digital art industry.

Among her most important milestones, she has also participated and painted one of her works live at the DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Center). We will surely see her expand to many more places and travel to different destinations to position herself as one of the main exponents of the artistic NFTs.

Undoubtedly one of the most important events in his career was the opportunity to participate with the President of Colombia, Ivan Duque, in the event “iNNNpulsa 10 years” in which Fira had the pleasure of handing one of its NFTs to the Colombian President.

The event achieved historic figures, supporting more than 22,000 entrepreneurs and accelerating 3,000 ventures.

Finally, the partnership with MasterCard and Conmebol to deliver NFTs in the Copa America Femenina 2022 speaks clearly of Fira’s personal growth and also the help it provides to recognize and enforce non fungible tokens, either as digital works, but also as useful NFTs. Hopefully these same experiences can be carried out in different sporting and social events to generate an exchange of values and thus, to recognize the work of thousands of people who have been venturing and undertaking in this new technology and crypto industry.
