It will be the first time that an NFT will be presented in one of the most iconic theaters in Argentina. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires and the Blockchain Art Gallery (BAG).
The Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires together with the Blockchain Art Galleryone of the best known NFT art galleries in Latin America, are sponsoring the work “Machine Hallucinations: Coral” by artist Refik Anadol, one of the most influential people in the NFT art ecosystem. The event will travel throughout Latin America and will begin on October 3 at the Teatro Colón, located in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA).

In addition, it will be accompanied by the Orquesta Académica Superior del Teatro Colón as part of the staging for the public to enjoy a one hundred percent innovative exhibition.
Pablo Bocchimuzzi will be in charge of the musical direction and the audience will be able to enjoy timeless and interdisciplinary music from among the great master composers of the 20th century. The aim of the music is to be associated with the work and to reflect the groundbreaking and avant-garde spirit of the proposal.
Tickets for the “ArtBAG Buenos Aires Experience” event will be free of charge and can be purchased through Boti (an automatic system used by the City of Buenos Aires to receive information of different kinds). MACHINE HALLUCINATIONS: CORAL
This work is one of the most important NFTs in digital art. It is a combination of science, art and innovative technology to form a three-dimensional art piece that was presented for the first time at the Faena Hotel lounge during Art Basel Week in Miami in 2021. It combines data science, digital painting, audio, and an immersive experience like never seen before.
Refik Anadol, told that this work is the result of an investigation (still in progress) of information based on the visual and collective memory of an urban and natural environment. The whole team behind the 37-year-old artist collected 300 million data centered on nature theme and consequently used 1,742,772 coral images from publicly available social media platforms that were processed with machine learning classification models.
Also, “Machine Hallucinations: Coral” commemorates the work of the organization, which seeks to protect all species of coral reefs around the world.
