Gala Music partnered with Larry Dvoskin and Warner Chappell Music to create and release an unreleased version of ‘Let’s Dance’ in a non-fungible token format. The song is part of the artist’s 1983 album of the same name.
Gala Musicis a world leader in Web3 music and digital collectibles. Today, it announced a partnership with multi-platinum record producer and winner Larry Dvoskin to create and launch an exclusive series of non-fungible tokens inspired by David Bowie and the song Let’s Dance that was created by the artist in 1983.
This collection will take place as of April 14, marking the 40th anniversary of the song and the album, which, as mentioned above, is named after the well-known song.
In addition, the NFTs will offer first-ever access to a never-before-heard version of Bowie’s hit and Gala Music’s goal is to pay tribute to the legendary icon who changed pop culture with his unique artistic expression.
David Bowie was an artist known for his innovation and constant challenge to push the limits, setting trends with each new single or album he released. He was born on January 8, 1947 in Brixton, London, United Kingdom and passed away on January 10, 2016 in New York, United States at the age of 69.
The track to be delivered in each digital collectible in NFT format is a version co-produced by Dvoskin and Bowie in 2002, i.e. 19 years after the original song.
The non-fungible tokens will be published by the platform Gala Games, a project based on blockchain games, but which has a subsidiary called Gala Music, in charge of securing collaborations with the most recognized and emerging artists and producers of the moment.
In addition, the NFTs were confirmed following the alliance between Gala Musiccomposer Larry Dvoskin composer Larry Dvoskin and music publisher Warner Chappel Music. They will be released on April 14 for a limited time and there will be a total of 3003 non-fungible tokens available to all fans of David Bowie or music in general.
