Fanz: The new way of buying and selling tickets

While tickets to events after the COVID-19 pandemic were digitized on a massive scale, FANZ brings an innovative way to obtain tickets in NFTs formats. FANZ brings an innovative way to obtain tickets in NFT formats.

FANZ is an Argentine project that aims to manage events and sell tickets in the format of non fungible tokens (NFTs). They offer tickets to anyone with the mission that they can access virtual spaces in the metaverse, but also events in the physical world, taking advantage of one hundred percent of the benefits of blockchain technology.

In your Decentralized Application (DApp), users can create and promote events. They can also buy, sell and even exchange NFT tickets between users. On the other hand, for creators, they have the function to manage sales and keep statistics.

The creators of FANZ are Julian Neuss y Juan Olivaboth studied at the ITBA (Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires), among many certificates and experiences in the world of technology.

They managed to create a user-friendly and intuitive interface. Both event creators and users only have to enter the DApp in a decentralized way with the use of a cryptographic wallet such as MetaMask and create the event or simply buy the ticket for the one they are interested in.

This ticket innovation in the form of NFTs comes to change the paradigm of physical and why not digital, but also traditional tickets to events.

These can be tickets for social festivals, crypto industry or technology community gatherings, sports celebrations and anything related to ticketing.

One of the main problems of this industry is the secondary and black market, as well as fraud and counterfeit tickets. There are people who purchase their electronic or physical ticket and when they arrive at the venue, they find out that these are not the real and official tickets of the creators of the event, and consequently they are disqualified from entering the venue.

Thanks to blockchain technology and NFTs, all these problems can be solved, since, when acquiring a non-fungible token, it is stored in the blockchain as an asset with an owner, in this case the user who buys the ticket. With this action, counterfeits are eliminated and access is achieved only by the ticket holder.

The complete FANS system is built on a blockchain, this allows to manage tickets one hundred percent as NFTs and offers many advantages such as:

  • Ticket resale and fraud-free trading. Synchronization of tickets directly with the blockchain address.

  • Royalties to the organizers on each swap.

  • Low commissions, as, they own their own ERC token – 20 $FANZ and works with the Polygon blockchain, known among other things for its low transaction fees.

  • Exchange event tickets as collectible figures.

  • In addition to tickets, FANZ offers the creation of membership passes.

On the other hand, the project aims to create a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) and leverage DeFi (Decentralized Finance) solutions for event organizers, bet on early access and rewards, increase homepage exposure and gain voting power in the FANZ DAO.

Finally, in pursuit of innovation, the company seeks to be able to bring all physical events also to the metaverse and have created a strategic alliance with Decentraland, one of the best and most well-known virtual spaces in the crypto industry.

The events can be visualized like this, in Decentraland are the coordinates (x,y) of the virtual land where the party is located. In case it is in a physical environment, you will be able to visualize the address within the event information.
