Disney Accelerator 2022 was held at the Disney Accelerator 2022

The Walt Disney Company wants to explore the future of immersive experiences, and to that end organized a day of demonstrations under the name Disney Accelerator 2022.

As time goes by we see how more companies are looking to enter the web3 and NFT field, as well as other technologies for digital and virtual work such as augmented reality and artificial intelligence.

On November 11, the company held its Disney Accelerator 2022 demo event for participants to present their solutions to 15 senior executives of the company. This program had its first edition in 2014.

Thus, the Demo Day presentation was held in the presence of the company’s executives, together with the founders of a number of growing companies.

One of the most important points discussed at the meeting was innovation and new technologies, the new immersive experiences that can be offered to the public thanks to web3, and the impact that all this can have on the company.

The event took place at the company’s Burbank studio, where they demonstrated the six companies participating in this year’s program.

As stated on the official website of The Walt Disney Company, Demo Day is an event through which the annual business development program is carried out to promote the growth of companies around the world through teamwork with Disney teams.

Bob Chapek, chief executive officer of The Walt Disney Company, said that since its founding approximately 100 years ago, Disney has brought stories and characters to life in new and innovative ways, becoming a fixture of global culture and creating generations of memories for millions of people.

He adds that Walt Disney himself already believed that technology was the key to bringing stories to life, creating connections that would last with his audience and turning storytelling into a great experience.

That is why the company selected these companies to participate in Demo Day. Each is a pioneering technology that they believe has the potential to help the Disney company reach more people and tell stories in new ways that have not been seen before.

Bonnie Rosen, the general manager of the Disney Accelerator program, said that a commitment to advancing technology is also part of the Disney Accelerator program, making it possible for them to collaborate with outstanding, growing companies, such as those participating this year. On the other hand, he was hopeful and excited to see the incredible things they can create together for Disney fans around the world.

Following the formal presentation, the Disney program brought web3 to the Walt Disney Studios grounds for attendees by demonstrating the Disney Accelerator 2021 and 2022 companies, including life-size versions of Disney’s most popular NFTs, and a Flickplay scavenger hunt, allowing attendees to interact with Disney’s non-fungible tokens.
