Asprey and Bugatti presented ‘Egg Collection Royale Edition’, a generative egg project that will have its physical peer and will be stored on the Bitcoin blockchain as NFTs.
Bugattithe French luxury car brand founded in 1909 by Ettore Bugatti, has reconfirmed a partnership with the studios of Asprey studios with the aim of launching a limited edition collection of NFTs eggs and generative art on the Bitcoin blockchain.
The two brands had already partnered to develop and launch a non-fungible token project called “Asprey Bugatti LVN” in 2022. Now, the idea is a collection of rare objects in the form of eggs.
In addition, Egg Collection Royale Edition will be available both in physical form and as generative artwork thanks to the technology provided by NFTs and will be enrolled in the oldest blockchain.
Each NFT in the Bitcoin network will be associated with a physical egg developed using carbon fiber wrapped inside a woven network of sterling silver diamonds. This material was chosen because of the “Dancing Elephant” which is inspired by the Bugatti Type 41 Royale.

Back to the NFT collection between the French car brand and Asprey StudiosThe collection will feature 111 physical eggs, which will be divided into two parts; from 1 to 100 will be carbon and precious metals with nuances that have not yet been disclosed by the brands. Then, from 101 to 111 will be eggs with diamonds and Imperial Jade editions in green, black, blue and other custom colors.
On the other hand, NFTs will also be divided into two features, but both will be minted on the Bitcoin blockchain. First, there will be generative non-fungible tokens that will produce new oval shapes non-stop, but once a week at 11:11 they will revert to the AB egg shape. Secondly, there will be NFTs that will be mysterious works of art that only the buyer and owner of the asset will be able to reveal once acquired.
The mintage date was also announced, which will be approximately May 4, 2023, and the values will be between $20,000 and $50,000 dollars, while 10 high jewelry editions could be worth from $200,000 USD.

As I mentioned earlier, this is not the first time that Bugatti and Asprey have teamed up to merge Web3 technology, NFTs and blockchain with rare and physical objects. In July 2022, the two companies launched “La Voiture Noire NFT“.
It was a physical sculpture connected through a non-fungible token, which was made of original silver with 24K gold plated finish and rose gold plated with a size of 120 x 55 cm. The sculpture was auctioned by the auction house Phillips and sold for £378,000 pounds sterling, equivalent to $453,868 US dollars.
