The popular heavy metal rock band made the decision to integrate with Deathbats Club and Ticketmaster to offer the best ticketing service for their fans.
We have seen that one of the objectives for which people decide to enter the NFT field is to guarantee the authenticity, inviolability and traceability of products and services through blockchain, in order to transmit security to potential customers or users.
In this line, one of the shortcomings of the traditional system of ticket sales to various festivals or events, is the possibility of filtering non-authentic tickets, or congesting the traditional online sales system, or the inevitable resale of tickets at a much higher price, thus harming the fans from different nuances.
And it is on this occasion that the popular heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold (A7X) has taken the decision to integrate the non-fungible tokens together with Ticketmaster with the main objective of circumventing ticket touts for their upcoming tour.
This news was made public through a tweet from the official account of M. Shadowswhich communicated that they have been integrated with Deathbats Club at Ticketmaster, in order to guarantee their fans the best tickets at the best price, all this without the use of bots, scalpers, or long delays to acquire the ticket they want so much.
Deathbats Club NFT is an NFT collection launched by the heavy metal band itself in December 2021, which consists of 10,000 tokens and are developed on the Ethereum network.
In this way, when we enter the official website of the music band website, we can see that the first action that the user is asked to take is to select whether he/she wants to enter the Web 2.0 experienceexperience, or to the Web 3.0 experience.
In recent months, the band was working quietly, until a few days ago they announced the release of a new song called “Nobody”, prior to the announcement of the upcoming release of their album “Life is but a dream”, which has an official release date of June 2, 2023.
Ticketmaster announced that the NFTs service developed on the Ethereum network are available for all kinds of artists. And in this case, they have developed it with the collaboration of the heavy metal band, which already had its own NFT collection previously called Deathbats Club NFT.
Owners of one of the 10,000 NFTs in the Deathbats collection will be selected to receive advance tickets to the band’s upcoming shows in New York and Los Angeles in June.
In addition to both shows, the band has confirmed their upcoming North American tour with 13 shows in Chicago, Minneapolis, Montreal, among others. For this tour, Deathbats Club NFT holders will have exclusive access to a pre-sale to reserve their next ticket.
